but I heard a song the other day and it has really made me thing of something. the song is Aint too proud to beg by the temptations and goes -

If I have to beg and plead for your sympathy, I don't mind coz' you mean that much to me, Please don't leave me girl....
Anyways, when I heard it I had a really vague vision of a tv show or film with and I think what happened was a man mimed this to someone and there were perhaps 2 friends in the background going a dance like the shoop shoop. does that ring any bells at all with you? I will be amazed if anyone can remember anything similar but its worth a shot!

The guy singing to the girl was Jerome Flynn (of Soldier Soldier and Robson & Jerome fame), and his mates behind included (would you believe it) Michael Ball. I still have the ad on a video when I taped The Godfather off the telly in the 80s. I once asked Michael Ball about it & he was not only amused, he wanted a copy of the tape
