old itv drama

Does anyone know the name of an old itv drama that was on a few years back. At the start a man is playing football, in the background the song Road Rage by catatonia is playing, he was abused at boarding school and is about him trying to cope with what he has been through, and at the end he goes to a beach and kills himself with tablets and alchol. It was a great drama but i cant remember the title.
