Only three of the Seven survived the climatic battle with Calverra and his men. They were: Chris (Yul Brynner), Vin (Steve McQueen) and "Chico" (Horst Buchholz). Coincidentally, with the recent deaths of James Coburn (Vin), Brad Dexter (Harry), Charles Bronson (Bernardo) and Buchholz this leaves only Robert Vaughan (Lee) as the last surviving member of the 7. Brynner and McQueen of course, both died some years ago.
