Hi! Could anybody tell me who the bald(ish) comedian is that (apparently fairly recently) starred in his own show about running a pub - was on Jonathan Ross's show about a month ago - very funny, very intelligent guy - Help...?
Al Murray's 'The Pub Landlord' is an established and very successfual alter-ego for the award-winning comedian. As a post modern Alf Garnett, The Pub Landlord takes every half-baked right-wing nonsensical philosophy, of the type pedaled by the charicature he inhabits, and pricks the self-righteous pomposity of such thinking in a witty sharp and hugely funny one-man show - see him if you can.
He also was in the Harry Hill show( i'm sure he was a regular) which was shown on channel 4.I think thanxs to that show that is were he got his break for his own series
