i have just been watching crufts and usually enjoy the heelwork that mary ray does with border collies but this year the camera work was abysmal taking a lot of shots from way out and you couldnt see what the dogs were actually doing, did anyone else notice this

I could not agree with you more - we missed most of the action by this silly camera and direction. Those sweeping shots of the arena did not work at all and I hope they do not use them next year

Also it did not help that the arena was very dark, although I have to say it was not one of her best routines.

I watched some youngsters doing Heelwork to Music in a smaller ring during the day, and there were some very clever and talented kids and dogs.

yes i agree the ring wasnt very well lit at all and i have also seen better routines done by her, although clever all the same
