ok the shootings in virginia tech are horrifying in the extreme but i bet the victims of previous atrocities are beside themselves ie dunblane, hungerford at least they werent taunted from beyond the grave the tv companies were hoodwinked into giving this madman 100% exposure so who is actually mad?the media for showing his rantings or the gunman?
So you wnat the news to only be about things that don't affect the viewer, that will be worth watching wont it? Every piece of news on the tv iaffects somebody by bringing back memories.
now i didnt say that did i?im saying that the tv companies were hoodwinked by the killer into showing his rantings.they showed the clips of the killer before realising what the consequenses would be to the survivors and the families of the victims so therefore giving the assasin maximum media exposure.
I would argue that executing 31 innocent people, then topping yourself would ensure you got maximum media exposure without all the broadcast ranting and raving against society
i think it was important to see this man ranting - yes it is unpleasent , but it is also neccesary for psycholigists etc , i think it was nesseary we need to know what goes on in these madmens heads
