all i can remember is that a bus was hijacked in america and the hijackers drove the bus into the desert and drove it round and round in circles to disorientate the passengers and then after robbing them they rode off on motorbikes or drove off in cars.

yhat sounds like it ,could'nt remember the kidnapping bit just the passengers being robbed and left in the desert and going to vegas sounds right as well.
rich elderly passengers going to vegas .
