Watched it last week for the first time in ages; I was wondering why Scott's accent seems to have completely changed? Like he underwent some kind of Vicki from Eastenders accent transformation.

I don't watch it anymore so I can't comment on Scott, but the same thing happened with Donna. One minute she had a strong cockney accent, and by the next episode it was a broad Yorkshire accent. Don't they think we notice?

Do you mean just recently or over the years? Scott has been played by two different actors. Can't say I've ever noticed any accent on Donna, just that whiny screech that lowers and escalates according to the requirements

I mean recently, the last time I watched it was several months ago at the height of the Scott-is-the-father-of-Zoe's-baby-but-nobody-knows-yet storyline, and his accent was totally different then.
