i remember seeing a film when i was very young with a guy and a gal who are caught in a sand storm, take shelter in a cave and end up, yes of course, getting down to it. I remember this film as i was cringingly embarassed when watching with parents. Not much to go on, but does anyone recognise this?
Im not 100% sure but do you mean The English Patient? Only I think they are in a plane flying across the desert and they somehow crash and the lady is quite badly hurt i think!
Its a really good film. Everyone is always saying how soppy it is etc but I think its a fantastic film. Id definately recommend it if your into that sort of thing?
i suspect, if you are old enough, that it was the tv miniseries "the far pavillions". The love scene was filmed in such loving detail, with a camera slowly panning around th couple, that it looked like they were inside a microwave.
and i must take issue- the english patient is soppy drivel. i spent the last hour of the film willing the deaths of the principle characters. It was done in flashback, we knew they were going to die and i wanted them to hurry up because i was rapidly losing feeling in my buttocks.
At first I thought of The Blue Lagoon but I don't know if you get sandstorms on tropical islands! So I looked at IMDB and it could be this Blue Lagoon rip-off - http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0084469/
Is this film set in Africa, where the girl's parents are killed in their home and she and this guy have to cross the Kalahari to get to a town or something? If so, it's A Far Off Place with a very young Reese Witherspoon.
