Ford is Francis Ford Coppolas middle name. Some people use an initial, the whole name, or don't add it at all. There may be specific reasons, but it may differ on the film itself or its age etc.
He has been credited as Francis Coppola in Dementia 13, Apocalypse Now, The Cotton Club...you get the idea. But has also been credited as Dad (special thanks for lost in translation) and also Thomas Colchart! (in Nebo Zovyot - re-edited version)
