1- Did Alan Rickman's character sleep with Mia? At first i thought not but she did promise him 'anything' if he bought her something pretty - and then we see her putting on the necklace although we never saw the exchange of gifts.
2- At the end of the film were his character and Emma Thompson's character together or separated after she confronted him about the necklace? It never says for sure.
3- when the president of the US tried it on with the Natalie in 10 Downing st, did she respond? At first I thought not, that he was hassling her, but she did seem to apologise to Hugh Grant about it at the end of the film.

His wife was only aware of the necklace and not any other business (hence the talk after the Christmas play when she gives the speech about him giving her the necklace and whether she should stick around or cut her losses and run).
2) Agreed with incitatus again - but maybe it's as if we're being told that they are together, but nothing can ever be quite the same given what happened.
3) I think she did. When she's apologising to David (Hugh Grant) she does admit "... and there was a fire" as in a spark of romance...
Great question though!
