i just saw it and wondered if the zombies are ne where else in the world?

I don't think so, because there are bits when they are flicking through the tv channels and you can hear a broadcaster saying something like 'experts believe the incident was caused by leaks of the highly dangerous chemical...' then he gets cut off. So it's probably localised. But i thought the film was going to be about how everyone lives such mundane lives, doing everything the same day in day out, that they turn into zombies because of that.
