Organise favourites
I have got a list of favourites as long as your arm and want to put them into folders, i.e. one called dog health, another for accommodation, can someone explain in very simple terms exactly how to do it, as whenever I select 'create folder' it doesn't tell me how to put anything in there, and I think I have a load of empty folders. I am up to number six but don't know if there is anything in any of them or how to find out. TIA.

In 'Organize Favorites', click on a link you want to put into a folder. (I'm assuming that you've already created the relevant folder). This will highlight the link. Click 'Move to Folder'. Click on the name of the required folder. Click 'OK'.
In future, when you go to Favorites and place the cursor over a particular folder, a sub-menu will appear alongside the folder, displaying all of the links inside it.

I think that we're all typing at one here ;-)
To see what is inside any particular folder, when you're viewing Internet Explorer normally (i.e. when you're not using 'Organize Favorites'), click 'Favorites' and place the cursor over the folder, to see the sub-menu referred to above.
If you're using 'Organize Favorites' and you want to see what's inside a folder, double-click on the name of the folder.

Great - think I've got it now, I didn't realise you had to overtype the name of the folder on the list where it said new folder! (or even that it appeared on the list at all).
Simple once you know, but not obvious to the technically challenged.
I have now started to transfer them and so far so good, but I could be here some time!
Answerbank comes up trumps yet again.
