Any idea where sonny is? he disappeared for weeks now!

In the show he went off to stay with a relative as he was annoyed/hurt after Calvin arrested him for shoplifting (as far as I remember...). I assume this was built in to the storyline as Devon Anderson (who played him) was sacked from the show - apparently for bad timekeeping - and so looks like Sonny won't be back!
