A similar storyline is running in Corrie at the moment - baby mix-up at the hospital. Don't know why, but for some reason it seems to me to be more believable in Corrie than it does in Emmerdale!

Sixteen years ago things like that might have happened, but I would think that nowadays it is extremely unlikely. Perhaps other ABers will think differently.

Yes they all seem to follow suit storylines. So does that mean they will try to retrieve their own baby?

At this rate, people will stop having babies in hospital, for fear of being given the wrong one. I imagine these events are very rare, but common in soapland.
