Naomi Campbell arrested on suspicion of assault

The supermodel is known for her short temper, and yesterday she was arrested at Heathrow airport 'for spitting at a policeman'. She apparently had a row with cabin crew over a missing bag pf hers. Police were called, there was a lot of swearing and arms were waving, the whole episode was said to have lasted around 40 minutes before police 'dragged' her off the plane. In the past the supermodel has been accused of attacking her staff and has been to anger management classes. So far no charges have been brought in regards to yesterday's fracas. What do you think? Should she be allowed to get away with this kind of behaviour? If it were a regular person off the street acting in this way would the punishments be the same?

It seems money and fame buys such privileges and all round admiration, whereas the relatively unknown girl ABAsks focussed on yesterday was apparently a deluded irresponsible fat silly girl, berated by all who saw her picture.

All these Supermodels, Pop stars etc think that they can behave in a different way to everybody else and get away with it. Well Ms Campbell has repeatedly lost her temper and been up in court and in America had to do community service. Well that was a laugh as she turned up in designer clothes and did a spot of cleaning. Big deal. This time she has assaulted a police officer and should be sent to jail and be thrown in with the female prisoners with no special treatment. She seriously needs to be taken down a peg or two.She should remember her humble beginnings.

Shock and horror! Please be fair guys. Remember the circumstances. Throwing a tantrum, swearing, and spitting at officials is surely reasonable behaviour for 'over the hill' C-list celebrities when something so unspeakably dreadful as mislaying a bag takes place!
Seriously, I'm reminded of the old idiom "You cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" How true....

She shouldn't be allowed to get away with her
appalling behaviour, anyone who causes
disruption on aeroplanes should be severely
punished. Cabin Crew have enough to contend
with, their priorities are the safety and comfort
of passengers, they don't need Naomi Campbell
to "throw her weight about" I suppose she thinks
her fame and fortune will excuse her, It doesnt
matter how much money she has, it doesn't
buy her "class"

I agree with libertie. "Super model" or not, the woman has no self control, manners or pleasant behaviour. People used to shudder at the antics of Grace Jones, but NC? If this is all true, she should lose her all her contracts.

According to the latest news Ms Campbell has told friends that she was picked on because she is black. Er no Ms Campbell it is because of your foul temper and committing an offence by assaulting a Policeman by spitting,and by causing the disruption of a flight because you wanted to take an overweight bag on board which you were told would have to follow on later. Paying �6000 for your air fare still doesnt give you special rights .You are not special whether black white or any other combination. Go to jail.
