Who writes the words which the brilliant Geoffrey Palmer speaks on BBC2's Grumpy Old Men etc - I'm totally blind so I can't read the credits; if there ar any.

I think they are his own but I don't know. I thought the programme was old men just giving their views on various things.

Many blind people use IT - even in their jobs.

Braille keyboards for typing. A braille board that images what is on the screen - very clever technology.
A braille printer so the user can print off a hard copy for his or herself, as well as a standard copy.

Text to talk and voice recognition also allow the user to hear what is on the screen and what they are typing.
