Why isn't this show broadcast every week? The public seems to help enormously in giving names etc. and crimes are solved with our help, surely it would make sense for this type of programme to be shown every week??

When they used to put an appeal out saying "Have you seen this man" my nan used to ring up and say no.

..because they'd rather show crap which is even more depressing than real life crime - and anyway there's no point solving anymore crimes because the prisons are too full now! But please Smurfchops..don't have nightmares - this is just "Great" Britain today :(

I saw a guy that i used to know on there,he was part of a group of us that used to meet up in the pub on a friday night a few years ago,he was on the bit where they list of photos of wanted people, wanted for fraud, no idea if they ever caught him.

I did hear that they were planning to broadcast Crimewatch twice a week, because of complaints that there weren't enough black people on television!

To be honest, it wouldn't matter to me if it was one weekly or even daily - this is not the sort of thing I watch. Nothing to do with a lack of public spirit before anyone says anything, it's just that none of it is relevant to me and I know it would be pointless watching.
