I didn't see it but the music was probably Gymnopedies by Satie, which usually get played on such films

hmmm in a pickle, it was very similar, but not quite. it was most like the end of your track, where it takes on a more 'dark' sound. the little bit they played on the programme was slightly discordant, dark.... a bit like imagine someone who was dying was playing the notes and hitting the slightly wrong note, slightly out of time and its all very, very sad....

The name of the piano music is Gnossienne No. 1. by Erik Satie. If you type it in to You Tube, you will have confirmation. I also tried to find out it's name for a number of years.
