Please can anyone remember...i cant?

I can remember being a kid & my mum watching a programme late at night (11pm ish) on a sunday i think???? Back in the 90's bout 94ish, all i can remember was the beginnin or ending....seeing a double decker bus & the theme feeling comic/cartoony...thats it???? might be politics???
Pls help
Also my partner has said about a Big Ben that would turn into a crocodile mouth...I can remember this also....is it the same programme I'm on about? Or a seperate show....whatever...could you pls tell us the names of both. TIA

sorry to be a pain but does that mean the bit where i mentioned a bus at the beginning is off that same programme?? ................whats the bus in a comicy theme from?

The animated bus was from one of the opening titles to "Have I got News for you". The titles were updated every so often and I don't think it features in the most recent series.
