Army Bullying
After recent television investigations into racist coppers and Muslim fundamentist Immans, has the BBC missed the mark with it's latest undercover operation:

Could is be argued that if you're going to send men off to potentially kill or be killed, you need those of the very strongest character...that it may be necessary to 'weed out' those who would crack under active duty?
Or have they got it right? Should we be vigilant against bullying in all walks of life?
I appreciate that the programme has not yet been broadcast, so the question is about 'army bullying' in general.

How can you trust them with a gun. They might go t!ts up and shoot their comanding officer. when they should be shooting the 'others'.

My son is in the Parachute Regiment and yes he was 'beasted' on a regular basis while training but he says that's what saved his life during two tours of Iraq. His argument is that weak men have to be weeded out, they are the ones 'covering your back' and if they are not disciplined enough they are a liability.
