Why does the B.B.C. insist on pretending that the Strictly Come Dancing Results Show takes place live on a Sunday evening? It doesn't take a genuis to see that it is recorded on a Saturday evening straight after the live televised event. Getting Tess Daly to change her frock for the second session fools nobody - especially as everyone else is still wearing their Saturday outfits. The same audience remain in the same seats on both sessions for all to see - so come on B.B.C. stop taking us for gullible fools !!
They never claim the dance off is live, for example, and if you watch the It Takes Two programme, they talk about going back into training on to Sunday after the results.
the links arent in sequence either. for example, it would take longer than 1 brucie joke to get simply red off, all their instruments, get everyone standing in their circle, and have the professional who has just danced back into their saturday costume (as happened this sunday)
kingkonk I don't think they have ever claimed this either - I knew this was always recorded purely for practical reasons I guess.
The Sunday night show packs in a lot of entertainment and is great - it has to be edited somehow else we would be there forever!!
Tess' dresses are a bit less glam for the Sunday edition as well. It must be well into midnight before the recording is finished though!
It has always struck me as obvious that they record it all on a Saturday and show the results on a Sunday. Only a fool would believe that the BBC are trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes.
