Well it is if you go to bed early like me :)

I've just been curled up in the warm with copious mugs of tea watching films.

Watched Memoirs of a Geisha earlier and it was sooo good.

How has everyone spent their New Years Day?

Awww, I'm in tomorrow but only for a bit so sort stuff out for Monday. Two of us volunteered so not a proper work day but going to miss my lie ins :)
morning was spent in bed with my girls... they need a lot of cuddles lol...

afternoon was spent in kitchen and lounge... cooking (now there's a surprise hehe) and more cuddles...

evening was spent watching tv - Christmas Lectures and Top Gear... now probably back to bed for more cuddles with my girls...

In other words, a totally chilled out, relaxing day.. the most strenuous activity was putting the food waste and green recycling bins outside... lol
I missed the film. Did you read the book as its very good ?

We went to visit friends for New Years Eve. Had a good laugh with them this morning . This evening its chilling out at home
I've been drinking wine but I've now ran out :-(

The film was lovely, not read the book but may have a look out for it. I love those kind of films, The Last Samurai, House of Flying Daggers etc... even love some of the Studio Gibli animations.

To bed for me soon too, Heathcliffe is hinting he wants to go cuddle up. Was watching a film but a bit headachey so giving it up for the night I think.

Night night all :) xxx
Hope you guys have a lovely cuddle.... xx J
awww youre all gettin cuddles

and I want one <:-(
Hiya, been working 11 - 5 today but it was totally dead, noone out shopping at all, still, got loads of paperwork and reports done for end of month so not a complete waste!!!

maybe next year we'll all be Millionaires and spend Christmas where we like!!!!!!!!!
Weeal ((((((hug)))))

So you dont feel left out
awwww Rosetta thanks for that {{hugs}} back at you
Wee Al.... there is nothing quite the same as the special cuddle you can get from a beloved cat.... my eldest (BigThug) has the silkiest fur coat you can imagine and she adores snuggling up next to me... the WeeThug has a brilliant sense of timing and often comes in just as BigThug is off outside for the necessaries... so I get two cuddles for the price of none..hehe..
night night sis, wish you better xx
I was at work, another shortage of staff at least i had a decent dinner, steak pie home cooked ham, roasties veg, some obscenne chocolate thingy yum yum!!!!
aww Juggs that sounds just the ticket so it does, I have fluffy slippers I could hug but not quite the same lol
Talking of cat cuddles, my cat is passed out on my lap, paw over eyes and making me hot! lol The thing is she looks so cute I don't want to move her!
Me and my mum have had a great day today. It's been very peaceful in our neighbourhood. My eldest brother came over to see us a little earlier. He's gone now.So I can relax in front of my PC and have a litle chat to all of you nice people.
The only TV I have watched today is the repeat run of Dr Who, a bit of Shrek 2,and that's about it.Ooh,I did record Peter and the Wolf on Channel 4.We can watch that when there is nothing else on.I just love these short animated films.
Back to blooming work tomorrow though.Pah,it would have been nice had everyone had an extra day off, just to make it a nice long weekend.Mmmmm......
No panic.....I have Stella now. Bring on the burps :-)
