just as he reaches the edge of the stage the screen behind flashes the word 'Greedy', this catches your eye and distracts you for the split second it takes for him to switch places. Bloody good illusion that.

if you have it on tape/equivalent... you see him fleeing the stage... then 30 seconds later he comes back on.. how he did the other dtuff tho!! madness gone mad!!
