Did Kylie Minogue ever sing any songs from the Australian Police series "The Water Rats" and if so, what are they?

Why aren't we all watching the X factor I wonder! ;o)
Hi Shaney I was so wrapped up in my own problem I forgot to say I hope you are feeling better. I am feeling a lot better now and last night wasn't such a bad night out though I didn't dance much not that there was much room to if I had wanted to. There was a friend celebrating a 40th birthday and she had a crowd of followers who danced all night.

My lounge is now in the process iof getting a re-vamp. I have ordered a new corner suite and taken the carpet up today ready for a new one when I find one I really like. I've decided I don't like leather suites and my nephew is havinhg mine to make room for the new one.

Loved the Year Book Kit I had a really good laugh.
Got me almost right Ha Ha!!

Got my car back at last all done and dusted. It had to have a few jobs done but it has now passed it's test and is ok for a bit. Mind you I'm still considering buying another one soon.

Robinia Haven't we had a good day weather wise? My sister has given me a plant called a Streptacarpus or something like that. Am I right? she says it's common name is Judith and it's a beautiful blue colour and has quite a few flowers on it. I'll try and get a photo of it and put it on here.

That's about all for now, Take care All See yer later 'gater(s)
s0ddin site ...lost me post...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

I think the weather was awful sorry Jude, to me it's been freezin' in that howling wind & I'm sick of standing the blue bin up. I closed all the windows & watched To Sir with Love this afternoon, ooh lovely. Glad you're on the mend...I need to get some improvements moving before the winter sets in.
lovely...Judith row 9 on the right>

forgot about Xfactor...been listeneing to motown on the radio...
Hahaa...I wouldn't let that sleazy old bgr near my liitle finger let alone me leg :0)
He'd be wanting "more information " and Fao'ing all over the shop .
just beem watching a First of the Summer Wine..when they were all young. It was the one where war is declared and though there were loads of funny bits, I found it very touching. My Mum always told me she knew exactly where she was when war was declared. She had joined up and was carving legs of roast lamb in a field kitchen set up on the long jumps at Chelsea barracks between the King's road and the embankment. She was 20 years old..about the same age as the characters.
My Mum was 19 when war broke out Woofie (Born 1920), and lived in London. She worked for a shipping company during the war so was excused war work, and the company was 'evacuated' to Cobham. She had a good few years there (an American forces camp virtually next door!!). She married my Dad (not an American) in 1942.
morning...I think my mum probably started the war, lol... it
looks like actually being a half decent day so I'd better cut the plug off this puta &, as she would say, get sommat done.

Good morning Biddyfriends Hope you are all o k today.

Thanks for the flowers Robi having had a good look I think that mine isn't the one called Judith so I have consulted my sister and sent it to her to see which she thinks it is. Hope today is a bit better weather for you. Not so windy or cold.

Going to be busy painting skirting boards today. Not that I like painting as I have a decorator but it seems just a small job to send for him to do.

Have a good day!!

G'day biddies. I had a nightmare thought: What if The New AnswerBank starts from scratch and the old Bank - including all of our old threads - is demolished?? It was the wording in the latest news letter (I think) that made me nervous, something about the AnswerBank being on its last legs. I have previously just assumed AB 3 (or is it 2) to be an improved version, but that last legs stuff made me nervous... I'd hate to lose our nonsense. Have any of you seen Ed or Spare say anything about it?

I love the colours of your cottage Lottie. Jude I had to google 'corner suite' and with some words (the ones that sound very concrete) I choose to image google rather than look it up in a dictionary...

...so now I know what a corner suite is... (you should build one for Polly, maybe she'll like you better then;-)
aggghhh!! what did you have that thought for Sweedie? ...but then I thought, no, surely not? There are years worth of info on here, & hopefully some people find their answer without needing to post a Q, I know I have.
Love the corner suite, hahaha...I love corner suites but it would prevent me from being able to rush(?) to the window if I needed to jump up & be nosey in a hurry :o)

I could do with lolling on a plumptious settee, I've been in the garden & even though the sun disappeared it's not quite as bad as yesterday. I had a sweet little robin, a young one I think, keeping an eye on me...so, being soft, I fetched him some cake & chopped some raisins & put them near to where I was busy. It only took minutes for him to check them out & he bounced up & down with glee, turned to look at me & said 'Nah, don't want that...'....tut...teenagers! From now on he'll be known a Pickyrob....

tut tut... Di dies, Dodi dies, now Dee dies...

How's Dido doing?
You absolutely sure it was a robin? It didn't go

boingk boingk boingk - tiddly powy...tiddly powy... tiddly powy...

...then? Ha ha ha ha ha ha, how funny was that birdsong thread in Animals&Nature! I had a magical and mysterious encounter with a blackbird early this spring; I was walking in a huge park called the White Mountains - or White Hills - and there was a blackbird hopping about on the ground a couple of meters in front of me, singing, and because of a shrub he didn't see me coming. It wasn't until I was just a meter away he spotted me and quickly hopped away and went silent, but almost immediately he changed his mind and turned around and hopped back again and stood 1,5 meters away from me on the ground looking up at me like I were Paula Abdul and he just started singing his little heart out! I'll never forget.

Let's hope you're right Robinia about the archives:-)
ha ha yes I smiled at boink boink tiddly powy. We have collared doves in our area and they definitely say "Take twoooo cows Tooommy doooooo" over and over again.
PS I would rather sit and jab a pencil into my arms and legs than watch the x factor. No 1 ladies is repeating tonight, much more my thing
