Kit that van is just made for a flower seller, the kind that sells balloons as well...yo'd be delivering joy wherever you went. If you loaded it with a lot of balloons i bet you could float from delivery to delivery!!Needlefelting is on my list t ry as you can make cute little teddys, however I am currently trying tiara making OR WILL BE WHEN MY STUFF COMES FROM EBAY GRRRRR!!!!

A terrible thing has happened - my dishwasher has broken down and I am now having to wash up everything from yesterday and this morning BY HAND! It is simply not on..................

Lottie where did you get that lovely pic?? I am serious about the tiara, you make them with wire and beads, will post a pic if my supplies ever arrive. One time quite a few years ago before we had a dishwasher, i had to have a knotted lump of scar tissue removed from my thumb. While the stitches were in I couldn't wash up, not even in gloves because the perspiration would have been bad for the stitches, as bad as the soapy water. My Mum heard Dh saying that he would have to wash up for five days so she promptly invited us to stay with her....and we went!!!

Kit It's donkeys years since I lived in Norway but I seem to recall we sailed from Bergen to Alesund on the Hartigruten. It was August time and the further north we went it never got dark ! We did a lot of trekking about over there by bus (post buses ) and boat .On one journey we went through 35 tunnels and funnily enough recently whilst (still) going through my mum in laws effects I found letters that I had written to them from Norway :)

I flew up to Tromso overnight once in midsummer - left Heathrow 9ish, after the sun had set; by midnight it was rising again in the west. Bright as day in Tromso, went on a tour of the town, up to a hill where you could look out over the fjords where the Scharnhorst or the Gneisenau or something was sunk, got given a certificate for staying up all night, then flew back and landed first thing when the airport opened in the morning. I don't know if they still do this. Rather nice, though.

I am working on a new certificate for staying up all night right this minute, of course.

Have just signed up for Facebook at the request of a friend in Abu Dhabi but neither of us really knows how to make it work. I am now in almost complete control of the Ipod I got for Xmas, though; I have just downloaded Rosemary Squires singing Frankfurter Sandwiches (to be served at the Borgia Orgy, probably).

Oh deary me, the wheels seem to be falling off the AB Health Service...quel surprise. I had some burning questions too...like why does pain make you feel so damned nauseous? It's more depressing than the pain to me. Do you know if those wrist bands work?

We had some good friends visit us yesterday and so I cooked us all a meal - just couldn't face the hand washing of dishes last night - am now doing it in stages!! The dishes just are not as clean as when they come out of the dishwasher sparkling. I rub and scrub but my black tea stains are almost impossible to remove. And just to add to it, one of my kitchen cupboard doors just fell off in the middle of me cooking yesterday evening - well I suppose they are 30 years old!!!

Yesterday it drizzled all evening from about 7.00pm, I would exactly call it rain - more like a sea mist, but at least it was a bit damp!

tea stains in cups Lottie - I teasp bicarb & boiling water in each, leave for half an hour, it all rubs off easily.

Vinny, I will only drink my tea from bone china and preferably all white bone china, but as long as the inside is white it is OK! It drives Mr LL mad!! But tea tastes horrible otherwise and besides I am a Ladeeeeeee.............

Good day all - yes Robi there is a heatwave going on here and I hate it, hate it, hate it!!! am in middle of making curtains for daughter�s room having bought lovely sets of bedding in Tchaibo (can't spell it) but no curtains so bought a king size and am cutting it to size, why I didn't buy 2 more singles (it would have been easier) I don't know. Have now to cut it down the middle and know I should tack it first but can't be a*sed!!

Blood sweat and was almost tears over the curtains but then Barry Manilow came on Tv and everything has gone like a dream, all cut to size and tacked (or basted as my bespoke tailor father would have said!) - no, the curtains not Barry cut to size!!

Nephew has gcse results 6 A stars and 3 A grades, no idea what it's all about but as his mum is over the moon I guess it's good, but he always was clever so why the surprise!

Bolognaise sauce made so now off to cold bedroom to watch Barry without interuption!!!!! Happy Days!"!!

I am curious as to what it was that No Big Deal posted that has caused today's excitement. I cannot for the life of me understand why people put intimate and personal things on this site!! (especially Health Service high ranking officials!)
