Poor man, He's been told to take as much time as he needs following the sudden death of Sara. I wonder what they'll do with the storyline with Ken and Blanch now?

Very sad about his wife. I remember when their little girl Edwina died. She was only about 18 months old.

the filming is 3 months ahead at least, and so they can adjust for it all. It's odd, he is someone that has been on the tv since i was 7!!! quite amazing really, that was just before the Beatles had their first number 1 i think!

I meant Martha. I must have thinking of Blanche when I posted. Im sure Bill and Sara became spiritualists after Edwina died cos they both swore they saw her after. Yeh dot I can remember him in the 60's. Showing my age now!

I saw them both on Mr and Mrs and she appeared to do everything for him, to the extent where she told him what to wear and how to hold his head so that his hair looked OK, he will be lost without her!!

Yeh they were a devoted couple pip and to think she died in front of him!
