northboy. the money raised is going into a trust fund for jade's two small boys, administered by a group of trustees, where no one can touch it for any purpose except the welfare of the two children. Jade's mother, the children's father, nor Jade's new husband, will be able to touch a penny of it.

Much as I feel for Jade, and I know she must be scared for herself and her boys, she was brought up in poverty (allegedly) but still survived. Her boys would also survive on a lot less than 3 million pounds, as have millions of people.

I have every sympathy for her and would not wish her plight on anyone. Her wedding must have cost an absolute fortune. Why could not all of that money gone into her children's trust fund. Why does she continue to court publicity?

The only way you can watch the wedding is if you have LIVING TV which is a Cable channel - they have been doing a series about her which culminates with the wedding ..Or f you know someone who gets this channel they can tape it for you...

Totterdown .. Jade Goody never had to pay for her wedding everything was donated so no money was taken away from her boys trust fund .. If you have seen her mother who is a complete nightmare (so no help there), and also the fact she has no siblings you can understand why she is trying to put as much aside for them as she can,she also has no siblings so she knows there will be no one for them to rely on when she has gone..In fact Jack Tweed has another assault case coming up in March so he's a waste of space..We would probably do exactly the same in her position...

katerich48, I doubt if every single thing was donated. The trust fund is being financed from OK's (?) sole rights to the wedding day proceedings. Most of what was spent by well meaning donators could have been added to that trust fund or to Cancer Research which would have done a lot more good than fancy dresses, food and the like just for show and profits for a magazine. I agree with what was said about her mother and Jack Tweed. She has certainly been unlucky with the people in her life. Hope the boys' father takes proper responsibililty for them in the future.

Totterdown...I agree entirely....it has been said that she has �4million in the bank ( no idea if this is fact or not) but if it is, then investing that �200,000 per year without touching the capital.....quite enough to educate the boys at Eton

Yes I know they have a father who has apparently been given custody - But I don't think he has the sort of money it will take to keep 2 boys at private school until they are 18...Also if she wants them to live in one of her homes - again has he got the money for the upkeep for the next 18 years.. Knowing what sort of a chlldhood she had you can understand why she wants them to have a better life , and if their dad can't finance it then she will have to..

Totterdown... There wouldn't be any money from OK unless there was a wedding that's what they're paying for... Also as noble and generous it would be to donate all her money to Cancer Research she cannot afford that luxury when she is leaving behind two young boys...Children, who will at least have some continuity in their lives by staying at their present school with their friends ... Lets face it they won't have much else to look forward to in the coming weeks...

On the point of private education for the kids........they will have a rough time at private school, believe me and what happens at the end of term, do they go back to their"dippy" grandma, or back to Jack Tweed, if he is not in jail or to their biological father, whom I know nothing about.
