Watching Michael Jacksons appearance at the o2 yesterday I immediately thought that he looked like a fake. I know he has had loads of facial surgery but everything about his mouth and nose looked wrong and his voice is totally differnt. But I thought it was just me but Eamon Holmes said the same thing this morning and a fan interviewed at the o2 said the same. There just does not seem to be something right about his appearance. Opinions please. ?
Thats weird patsyann, my hubby said the same thing and you're right, his nose is different. Maybe more plastic surgery? As for his voice, definatly not the same. I just took another look and Im sure its a stunt double. The real MJ would have to sing in concert though surely?
Interestingly, Jackson is at the pinacle of celebrity stardom - which means that a convincing look-alike could come on stage, and no-one would really know it wasn't the real thing.
I still think its a lookalike. If you look again at the o2, his nose is different and he only looks at the fans when he's got his glasses on. Before the interview he seems to hide his face behind maybe strategically objects. His voice is much lower than the usual whispery tone. Listen to a normal interview then compare it to the o2.
yes chinadog we seem to be in agreement. I suppose only time will tell. Let us see if he really does appear for his Tour I have my doubts. It was only a few short weeks ago he had his picture in the papers heavily bandaged with a rumour he had MRSA. And that he was very weak and ill. !!!
I have just watched Michael Jacksons appearance at the O2 on the Sun website - I totally agree with you - it looks like a double. His voice is deeper and despite the plastic surgery, he looks younger.
One minute he is photographed in pyjamas with his hand in a bandage the next he is prancing about like a 5 year old.
This is either a double or the real Michael J. is one hell of a hypocondriac !!!
I mentioned on another thread that I thought MJ's voice didn't sound quite right when he was filmed at The O2. I didn't pay much attention to his appearance though.
MJs unofficial biographer was interviewed on GMTV last week. He and his team of researchers have apparently been in contact with Michael, his friends and his family for the last few years and he was insistent that MJ was likely not to show up at his concerts. I thought this biographer was just stirring up a bit of controversy to aid the sale of his book that's due out soon. However, it seems that perhaps he may be right. We'll just have to wait and see.
