Why had Jack got a horrible blood stained plaster on his face in last night's Corrie?

i was wondering the same
And me!
that is an old fashioned but effective way to stem a bleed from shaving. Just stick a tissue or a bit of loo roll on it. Most blokes would remove it before going out though lol
Me too!!!!!
But it was on a part of his face that doesn't need shaving. ie too high up his cheek.
what you remove it before going out chrissa?
depends on your beardline. I have to shave occasionally that high to counter bum fluff which does go that high. Stubble lower etc. Then again i did start shaving when i was 12 and i'm quite hairy generally. Also it is only a soap ;)

I guessed the actor had had to undergo either a small op(to remove a growth, mole etc) or has had a biopsy done, either of which would leave a wound.
Only speculating.

I thought that too black bunny, but the make-up dept could at least have put a flesh coloured plaster on it! Also it was REALLY obvious, yet apart from Craig Charles' character asking him if he was in the wars, there was no mention of it!
Was t the same plaster that used to hold his glasses together ?
that is why i still think it was a shaving wound. It was just a piece of tissue wasnt it? Exactly the way guys sometimes stop the bleeding.

Trust me x-ray, that would have been cleaner than the one he did have on!!!
Scarlett the pigeon bit him lol
I'm glad someone else thought it odd.
I immediately assumed he'd had a small op. as black bunny said but in the later scenes it looked as though it was bleeding profusely and looked awful....maybe they weren't allowed to cover it up with anything from a medical point of view.
cor blimey guvnor! *looks down to see if i'm still visible lol*
