i know im going to sound like a complete loon here, but here goes.
me and my friends are really close, have been friends for a long time and hopefully will still continue. but they just never want to go out! age ranges are 14-16 so obviously not like... out OUT but you know, out! just a nice wee loungey place with good music if you get me. they say they don't like walking home late but we can get a taxi? even then, we wouldn't be out till 1 in the morning at all. more like 11 or something. whats wrong with them!? im really starting to want to go out, and since im the youngest of the lot i dont get why they dont want to go out if i am! anyone suggest what i can do to persuade them? and also, we live in north edinburgh-know any loungey/bar/music/whatever! places we could go to (consider our ages!) thanks,
god. i am a loon.^^

Maybe they are not allowed out that late? My parents wouldn't let me stay out until 11 when I was 14! Could be that they are concentrating on studying if they are in the later years of school and have important exams looming next year. Maybe they can't afford taxis?

There is really nothing you can do if they really dont want to go out, other than make some new friends.
you don't sound like a teenager to me. how old are you?
my sons (15-17 yrs) went through stages of going out with mates and staying in. Do you have The Cat House near you? totally for under 18's, different areas inside for different music and well supervised.
