Does anyone know why the episode of "Fringe" that was shown on Sky One last week (entitled "Unearthed"), which centred around a teenage girl who was "possessed" by the spirit of a US naval officer, was not aired within the original run of Series 1?

It hadn't been aired in the US either and was cause for similar confusion across the pond when it was shown there (mid-season 2) in January.
