i wonder if the other panellists are struck on leslie? sometimes i get the feeling theyre not from the looks on their faces when she starts showing off
Has she done an operatic 'trill', yet ?
I can't abide her 'I'm a professional Yorkshire-woman' schtick.............and yet I could watch Jayne McDonald all day !
i find denise a bit too much at times, she's a bit of a show-off i think. leslie garrett is dreadful, the worst of them all. have to say, the whole programme is beginning to wear a bit thin with me.
I think I may have some residual Lanky-bias.............:o)
Notice how many times La Garrett tells you that she's from Yorkshire...........
but Jayne McDonald does similar..........hmm perhaps it's with more warmth and humour, though ?
The bottom line is that whilst La Garrett may have (arguably) the 'best' singing voice, I think I'd probably enjoy an evening with Jayne 'Agadoo' McDonald far more :D
Me too, what a silly cow. I am sure the other women don't like her as well. That Fiona, why does she shout so load when she introduces a guest. And while I'm at it, why do the audience scream and hollow before and after the adds? that's my bit.
now i like denise, i really like hearing about her tales, especially if theyre about her tim.
im not a fan of colleen, just cant take to her.
jane is fine, sherries a bit too dippy to be amusing,
and carols fine too, says it as it is.
I once, a couple of years ago, (honestly............and to my shame) sent an e-mail to LW. I asked if they could possibly get their floor-manager (a man) to tone down the whoops, cheers and other 'audience-participation' noises as it was driving me to distraction.
On reflection, perhaps I should have started watching something else at luchtime, but anyhoo.................they never responded and he never toned it down; although I think they must have a new one now as things have quietened down.
I'm with Lottie- Carol's ok, i guess, but the programme itself is just 4 women cackling away to themselves about, well crap really. If I want to listen to bilge like that I go to work and I'll get paid for it thank you very muchly.
