Hello, newbie here - my first question is this, do people have time for 'proper' hobbies these days?

I don't just mean sitting in front of the box watching DVD's and such, i mean stamp collecting/model making/ that sort of ilk. My wife does sugarcraft, I like to draw and paint in oils, and have recently began to research my family tree. What's your hobby?

Sugarcraft is, I better not say 'messing about' the mrs would kill me! she ices and decorates cakes, she does make the most exquisite flowers and such from sugar paste - I can't find her album but she has pictures of all the cake she's done, she did one the other week with a star-gazer orchid on it for a 21st birthday, it looked real!
