He has a baby pillow which is on of those which are about 2" in depth, which he refuses to be without, he also has a 'taggy'
This is a tiny hat belonging to him which he takes to bed along with 'soft cushie' he has to use the tag inside of the hat to press against his cheek......
in a nutshell , they were both minging! but he's so upset to be parted from them, so Saturday, after he stayed with us, I went in his room , grabbed the two items and stuck them in the washer, he was inconsolable and now I feel a right mean cow of a Grandma! other than take them in the garden and stand on them, he will have to accept the nice smell of softner...lol

Do you or any of your children have these comfort items?

lol@sqad
Mr Buzzy JJ?
Do you put Mr Buzzy in the dishwasher, jj?
At the grand old age my comforter is called Purple Ronnie.

But at your son's age I had a piddy. A smelly grey corner of my pillowcase or the top of my wincyette. My friend Lil had a Goy-Goy.
Luckily my sons comfort was labels so he use to just feel the ones in his clothes. A bit of a pain as he wouldn't wear clothes that had the wrong labels. He use to look funny....one arm behind his neck and the arm down the back of his trousers.....while sucking on a dummy.
Do you have to take the batteries out first JJ?

Oh Nooooooooooooo
call me slow...go on!
I have just realized what JJ meant...fook!
And my Purple Ronnie bobbs? You get that now? ;-)
My son (now 36 )had a piece of cloth when he was little - called it his bit - it went from about a foot square to a tiny bit of (can only describe it as) rag. I used to have to wait until he was asleep to take it from him to wash. He always knew I had done it though. Tried giving him a new piece but he just wasnt interested. Didnt mind so much if I didnt use fabric softener for some unknown reason. Finally lost it altogether when he was about 3.
Filth, pure filth. I'm disgusted!!
You just have to use soapy water ... which is actually quite erotic!
Stop this disgustingness. I'm aghast at the content of this thread.

(Please, for the love of god, stop. It's been toooo long!)
It takes a while to dry out though JJ, if you get water in the inner workings.... don't you find?
Stop....please.....stop

bit lost with the purple ronnie sall, which souldn't suprise anyone!
Perhaps water improves the lubrication...you know what happens to women of a certain age? :-)
It's the name of my favourite 'comforter' bobbi..............
I don't get water in the inner workings, Sal.

I don't "submerge" Mr Buzzy.
