Mid nineties tv show?!

Hi,

I have been trying to think of the name of a series that was on itv (I think) in the mid nineties.  I am sure that it used to be on mid week and was set in the 1960's � a bit like the krays.  The series focussed on the brother and sister mostly�. Can you help � its driving me mad.  I am on the brink of getting all my Radio times down from the attic and going through them that's if its in it � they didn't used to cover itv.  It was on TV before 1998, but I am definite it was long after 1990.  I think it was on for about 6-8 episodes

This will most likely be banned, though i shall continue; you sad, sad man! As for the programme, don't remember it but if you type in something along the lines of "nineties bbc series" you may come up with something?

Wouldn't be FOX Would it, about a south London family, Peter Vaughn was the father and Shirley Stelfox (I think) were in it ? from memory three(maybe four brothers?)

Don't think Fox was set in the sixties.  Don't remember it having a sister - definitely Ray Winstone as the youngest son, Larry Lamb as an older brother.  Think mum was Elizabeth Spriggs.  Doesn't help TEE JAY though!
