Car Air intake

Hi

I have a horrible smell coming from my air intakes into the car.I assumeed it was the air con, i changed the pollon filter, and sprayed in detol.I also used a air con deo bomb,which you sent off in the car with the air con running.

Anyway, it still smells., but i dont think its actually the aircon, as its stronger when the air con is not being used and goes away when i turn it on.

So, where does the air get drawn in from when not using the aircon, the smell be from that area

please read the above question, i have already used the aircon cleaner (bomb), smell is not coming in when air con is used, only when it is off

That's right, the chilling effect of the aircon stops the smell, but when it is off the smell comes out again.

You need to treat it again.

Once treated, leave the aircon on all the time.

If you don't wish to do this, then turn it off before the end of your journey and whack up the heat. This should dry the area, so that it doesn't stay damp and fester.
