I'm doing all my xmas shopping on line this year, so am starting early, got half of it & tomorrow is going to be a day of on line shopping. Just bought my rwo grandaughters a beautiful coat each from Next, Spent a fortune on M&S site. If they're not happy with 'em they can take them back to their local store. (I like that idea) it takes the onus off of me. Doing books and CDs tomorrow,
Just as a warning I was given a £40 dress from M&S for Xmas that was bought in September. I hated it and although I was given the recepit M&S would not refund or exchange for the value because the time limit (90 days for M&S??) had run out. All they gave me was the current sale price of £9.
The other day I was visiting mum and dad and their old gas barbecue was on its last legs. So ... I've bought them a new one using Tesco Double Clubcard points and it arrived today in time for Christmas.
I don't normally shop this early but the offer's on now and I thought it might be quite difficult to find barbecues in December ...
They do extend the date Barb, with M&S though they always recognise their own goods, they wont give money back but they give vouchers anytime. I think that goes for most 'big' co's too. But since you've asked I'm going to do some checking tomorrow.
