Quite a few of lindsey's posts are 'difficult' but I think she ought to be given the benefit of any doubts...........
Reading back, lindsey has made a claim for disabled living allowance (there seems to be an inconsistency of payment) but has received a letter telling her that the monies owed had been paid in. They also seem to have been withdrawn and lindsay is adamant that she has neither received nor withdrawn this money.
Contact your bank and ask them to run through the transactions on your statement with you. That may help shed some light on what went 'in' and what went 'out'.

I think lindseyjames10 meant statement when she said cheque.
It may be that they made a payment , maybe in error, and then cancelled it/withdrew it,
Or does it (incorrectly) say you withdrew it as cash.
You need to ask the person/organisation who is supposed to have issued the payment.
You couild also ask RBS .
