There used to be a programme on TV when I was little and the title had something to with birds.  It was about a scouse woman called Brenda and her boyfriend Malcolm. Anyone remember this?

Twitching,i think.

What has twitching got to do with birds?  I thought it was something you did when you were nervous?  Sorry if you're right as I have no idea where I got the bird thing from.  Maybe it was her bird's nest hair cut!
Twitching is another word for birdwatching
It was actually called 'Watching' and it also starred Liza Tarbuck!! I remember it well!!

Watching is correct, I stumbled across it on Sky a couple of months back. Here's a link to it.

http://www.phill.co.uk/comedy/watching

The bloke who played Lisa Tarbucks husband in watching is now in "The Bill" as Roger
It catapulted Emma Wray to instant TV comic fame, but I think she's dropped out now. The chap was Paul Bown.
I remember Malcolm's mother was Nursey in Blackadder!

It was boredom at first sight, you could hardly call him bright, he is no-ones Mr Right, so what do I see in him?

But then I'm not so ideal... I'm not gentle, or gentile. So the question should be what does he.....

see in me?

(cracking theme tune)

Malcolm's friend Terry is Perry Fenwick AKA Billy Mitchell in Eastenders & Malcolm's mum was Nursie in Blackadder.

Does anyone know where I can buy copies of the Watching series?  The BBC have put out so many good 80s and 90s comedy series, but I have never found Watching.  I would love to have a copy of the full series.
