Apart from the wedding and confirmation dresses that we know are made by that dressmaker, where do they get the girls' clothes from? It is a very specific 'look'. The travellers around here dress their daughters the same way (but I am hardly going to ask them).
Don't think they tax or insure their vehicles, they move around so much that they can't be traced, a family were given a Housing Association house near to a relative of mine back in June, the police were forever calling round there, th children didn't go to school in the whole time they lived there, which turned out to be about 5 months, they then did a moonlight, leaving the house and garden in a terrible state!.....absolutely filthy!.............
My friend lives in one of them in Spain, B00, it counts as mobile - you just bolt it into the mains and the drains, then put in on the back of a huge van if you want to move!
Just got to the bit where she is trying to get that big, huge dress into that tiny carriage thing - why don't they just book something with bigger doors?
Had to laugh at the dressmaker sitting at the wedding reception with a fire extinquisher on her lap, just in case the lights on the dress caught fire. (:0 D
The extremely tanned Mother of the bride looked more gypsy than the gypsies.
