The ones portrayed on the documentaries are definitely not your authentic Romany gypsies no matter what they say. They're all more like yer "Noo Age Travellers

I wouldn't call these 'new age travellers' at all. New age travellers are a kind of youth sub-culture, and do the music festivals and deal in crystals,yoga, possibly vegan living, and relate to environmental issues. Not at all like the Irish travellers we are seeing.
