When did Challenge TV come onto freeview?

My son mentioned the other day that Challenge was on freeview and I dispelled it as him getting mixed up with Sky TV which is in Grandma's house. However I noticed earlier on that it is on Channel 46. When did this happen?

Must have been very recent, as I retuned the other day to get ITV1+1 and it wasn't there then.

I 1st noticed it yesterday after retunning. I cant get it though. lol

I've just checked mine but can't find it. Did you re-scan for this?

I had to rescan for the digi box but it was automatic on tv with built in freeview.

Sky have removed/rebranded/rejigged the Living TV channels (Living, Bravo, Challenge, Channel One) it bought from Virgin Media.

Channel One has disappeared and Challenge has taken its slot (but different channel number) on Freeview.

That's a shame as Channel One was pretty good. Better than endless repeats of Family Fortunes from the eighties.

I noticed that GOLD was now on Freeview - but I don't seem to get any picture for it. Think I'll try re-scanning too!

Gold is a pay per view. I never noticed that Channel One was gone.

I don't half miss Channel One, I loved Criminal Minds. I went on to nevermiss.com, but though they were happy to let me know what Sky channels it was going to be on, they never mentioned any freeview channels at all - so I guess, like so many things, it has quietly passed out of my life!
I don't know about anybody else, but I am getting soooo fed up with reality programmes. The latest apparently is giving the 'lucky winners' their own farm - I mean, come on! And I caught five minutes of a programme yesterday afternoon where people apparently nose about in other people's houses and then give them marks out of ten or something! Oh dear, oh dear, HOW SAD!

I recorded Dinnerladies on Gold while I was out, came home tried to play it (as it said it had recorded it) but it was scrambled. Apologies for duff information so disappointed

Some of these channels are listed under Freeview but unless you subscribe to them you will not receive a broadcast.
