They just said that the girls leave once in secondary school so they are not influenced by non travellers.... so they do go to school that taxes pay for.

It is a legal requirement that children in this country get an education, it is not dependent on parents or guardians paying taxes or NI contributions.
Why the parents aren't prosecuted for failing to ensure their children are educated is another matter.
