when i created my ebay, i changed the year of when iwas born because am not 18 (but am nearly 18, 4 months to go) but i need to create a paypal account but the bank know my date of birth. so what do i do.

as i really want to use ebay

Ebay is connected to paypal. They are probably the main shareholders if not the only one. If you have made any misleading entries on one the other will know. You must listen, several people have told you this already. You cannot buy on the internet until you are 18 because you have not reached the age when you can make a legally binding contract. They have their own ways of checking and will ban you from the site if you have not taken their rules seriously. It's no good stamping your foot and throwing a tantrum, that is the law and you cannot get around it. However, if you wish to buy from someone on ebay and they will take a cheque you can also buy by this method. You may have to wait for the cheque to go through the bank before you get your goods. I am not sure if you can have a current account before you are 18 you will have to find that out at the bank. This is the only alternative.

What Helen means is that if you try and bypass the rules you will committing fraud, which is a criminal offence and you can be arrested and prosecuted for it.
