this is why I've put it here in chatterbank, but according to a popular magazine (the Radio Times) the nations favourite cake is? Well you tell me and see if you agree - I'm sure they've got it wrong. So tell me what your fav cake is and see if it correspondes with this so-called Nationwide survey (who fills these surveys in - anybody know?)

Farmhouse fruit cake. Not the horrible rich fruit cakes like Christmas and Birthday cakes - just the good old farmhouse one eaten with a chunk of your favourite food Mercia - Cheese!! But good old cheddar!!
