The Archers seem to have many more characters these days, than it used to so its difficult to keep up ! I missed the first part of the episode this week when Roy and Hayley went to see Usha...who did they "tell" in the first 5 mins of the program ?
Mikey, just listened again while getting ready for work and the only "telling" I heard was that Roy and doormat Haley had told Mike and Vicky that Roy had left his job.
Don't you think Elizabeth is being a total biatch, can't she see she's basically sacking Roy, ruined his home-life for something she was very happy to do at the time. I feel sorry for him.
So do I Prudie. I felt so sorry for her when Nigel died but she has just used Roy and now she's dumped him as a friend/lover/employee. Horrible selfish woman, no thought of how he and his family will manage. Will they head for Brum with Mike and Vicky? I hope Roy takes her to a tribunal first and her family and the village (especially Susan) find out what has been going on. Off to work now.
I think it is because Susan is the biggest gossip in the village and once she gets wind of what is going on she will make sure everybody knows. Roll on the downfall of the lady of the manor!
Yes, another Archers addict, Mikey - my problem at the moment is that I keep missing bits of the Sunday omnibus (taking OH to nurses just after midday) so I have to do some joining up. Yes, Elizabeth is thinking she is being so noble and I feel quite sorry for Roy. Susan is such a dreadful scandalmonger that she'll probably guess at a worse tale if she doesn't find out the truth!
That's all gone quiet too. Are we waiting for the baby to be born so they can do a DNA test or will we never hear from Jess again? Now what *would* put the cat among the pigeons would be for Elizabeth to find herself pregnant. Naughty Pooka!!! :-)
