Help needed please from Mikey, or any other Archers experts.

When Jenny told Brian she was giving each child £5000 he said it was £20,000.
Jenny said no it was £25,000 as she was including Rory.

What's that all about?

Oh, and has anyone ever heard the voices of Justin and Geraldine?

Rory isn't hers, he's the result of an affair Brian had with the now deceased Siobbhan (?). Jenny agreed to bring the child up when his mother died, very heroically IMO.

Between them they have 4 children, Adam who was Jennifer's, Debbie and Alice who are theirs, and Rory who is Brian's through an affair. The money came from John Tregorran's will, he was an old friend of Jennifer's, some say more than a friend!

Kate and Alice are their daughters and they have Adam and Debbie from Jenny's's past - so 2 children + 3 step-children including Rory

Ruiri is indeed the love child of Brian Aldridge and a green-eyed Irish siren called Siobhan. They had a secret affair that went on for months, right under Jennifers nose, and produced an issue, ie little Ruiri. Siobhan was the local Doctors wife, or maybe the Vets...I can't remember which. We never saw her of course, but she had the sexiest voice in radio history...she could pop a fly button at 50 paces.

Who knows how many other little Brians and Brianesses there are in the Ambridge countryside ? Brian has had more affairs than most of us have had hot dinners,....well more than me anyway. But I think his hormone levels have dropped below mere mortal men these days, as its ages since he had his leg over anywhere other than his own farmhouse.

Much more importantly...how long is it before Susan gets to hear of the affair between Roy and the Tart of Lower Loxley ? And why hasn't the lovely and saintly Hailey kicked out that over sexed lout of a husband of hers ? He is supposed to be somewhat of a Muscle Mary, so I can understand her hanging on to him I suppose but he will be nothing but trouble in the end.

Talking of Muscle Marys....where is Chris Carter ? I can't remember the last time we heard him swinging his big hammer around.

Sorry I have come late to this (selling a house, somewhat stressful) just want to say that I have been listening to The Archers all my life - Mum used to have it on- and I can scarcely imagine life without it! I try for the omnibus edition every weekend. The writers often refer to characters who are never heard. I have a feeling that Eleanor Bron is going to become a fractious inhabitant!

I think Geraldine is the woman brought into replace Roy at Lower Loxley.
Justin is the news estate manager that is driving Adam mad at the moment.
He ponces about Ambridge in his Porsche and is holding the Sword of Damocles over Adam head, in that he can take the estate contract away from him. Think of Justin as a sort of male Linda Snell...introduced to Ambridge to add some much needed acid into the mix !

Pooka...you are right and I stand corrected ! Justin is indeed a Silent Character at the moment. Sorry that I may have misled our Archers Newcomers on here !
