Thought we needed a new thread
I'll try not to spoil it too much but I cannot see a happy ending for Helen
Also Rex (or Toby) 's infatuation is getting a little tedious
But in order to register a birth, isn't there some paperwork given by the hospital to confirm the birth? I seem to recall something from years ago, although that might have been just the Military hospitals,
Either parent can apply to have the name changed within the first twelve months but both parents are named on the Birth Certificate, both parents must sign the application form. I am not sure what the situation is if only one parent is named.
Mmmm. Now the trouble starts. Glad Tony and Jazza are OK, that's one good thing, but.....what will happen when Rob tries to go back to the shop? He's got enough brass neck to do just that. Will they be able to sack him? Pistols will be out about the name too. We shall see.
I'm still banking on Jess, or was it Tess, riding to Helen's rescue and blowing the gaff on the Titchner fella. By the time she has finished he will be like a Dalek with a mouse in its clockwork.
I made the video clip and had no inside knowledge. I didn't know that the next day (Friday) Helen would suddenly wake up and give him a name, let alone what that name would be.
I just made up the lines, using the most obvious names, which happened to be the right ones.
Jess has no information that is useful to Helen's defence. Remember that Rob is not on trial, Helen is accused of attempted murder. Jess wasn't there when he was stabbed. If anything, it could be argued that having met with Jess, Helen decided that she would murder Rob. A charge of attempted murder means that it was premeditated. The only way she can get out of this is to sort out defence of self-defence, which could be that she was defending Henry.
