Just A Minute is far from rubbish - it is a very entertaining programme and I had the pleasure of attending the recording of the show from Swansea where Clement Freud, Paul Merton, Victor Spinetti and others had the audience in stitches for nearly 2 hours. It is a very difficult thing to do to talk for a minute on a subject you have no means of preparing for without repeating yourself or hesitating or deviating from the subject - just try it yourself to see how difficult it is. The fact that it has been running since December 22, 1967is testament to its longevity and popularity.

I also love I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue and atended the recording in Cardiff recently. They are two entirely different programmes which can be enjoyed whatever your sense of humour may be.

I agree with Osprey it can be most entertaining and anyone who delights in the twists and turns of the English language would enjoy it I would have thought. Of course I'm sorry I haven't a Clue is hilarious too !
